Time flies when you are impossibly busy – well not impossibly after all – “All things are possible through Christ who strengthens me.” Still my humanness struggles some days to keep up with the grandiose plans of God. More to the point, I struggle with being human and remembering God is in control and to wait on God. Or I get busy waiting and pre-occupy myself with drivel and then I can feel God standing there arms crossed, toe tapping, quietly waiting for me to remember what I am supposed to be doing.
Which is working on the final things to be done so we can get this thing on the road. It has been a long and very complex journey. I’ll get into that more next blog, but first things first – What is going on?
I know its been a few months since an update. I’m sorry and take full responsibility for it. I have been sidetracked and struggling. Not with faith, but with obedience and listening to God. Despite that God has been working and nudging me to do various things that need to be done and we have gotten much accomplished and started and finished along the way.
Above in our gallery are some examples of the books we have been working on. Four of them are published and available on Amazon already!! So exciting. You can grab “The Littlest Lie”, “God’s Garden”, “Under the Bed” and “The Bee Attitudes” in time for Christmas giving to your favorite kids. Great for kids ages 3 to 11.
Also, The Super Secret Christmas Project may be released on Amazon by the end of the week. I hope. It is done and being edited. Plus some videos are coming with craft directions that will help everyone complete the project. A few others are in the works too, Who Am I? is a working title but is started and about a third of the way written. Moses Was A Basketcase is written as is book 2 and 3 of the series but I am working on illustrations for it. I’m not completely a fan of the existing art only because it is limited, and new art will cost us, so trying to work a plan b work around for those books. Beyond these there is a Heroes and Heroine series and Villians Series in the works as well. So when it comes to books and great resources MANY MANY MANY new things are coming as quickly as I can write, edit and illustrate them.
Yes, I am the writer and editor – as for illustrator, I’m more a doodler than an actual artist, but I’m working it out using the gifts and talents God gave me and leaving the heavy lifting to Him. If He asks me to do it, then I assume He will provide a path by which it will happen. LOL. Lots of times these areas are hardest for me to traverse. Not that I lack faith in God, because certainly that is not at all the case. I believe in miracles and have seen my share and then some. My trouble is me – yep, I want to do it myself and do my best and make God proud like some Kindergarten child making a card for Daddy. When the whole things of Go Godly Worldwide – start to finish – is about God and bring Him ALL THE GLORY. So, I cannot do it. Doing the impossible myself or even trying to just ends badly because I am only equipped to do the things being asked of me by God who will provide a way for it to happen perfectly. God has shown this over and over, but don’t think for one moment that has slowed my determination to at least try to do it myself over and over. Oh, poor prideful me, the struggle is real. I admit to my control freak ways and have successfully laid that down in this journey, but old habits die hard so every now and again I wander off into the badlands of control freak only to have God wait me out until I realize I am off course yet again.
The wonder and beauty of all this is what God is doing every step of the way because once you get to know me and this company better you will know 100% without any doubt that I am not the master of this universe at all and that I could not have done this without God. Here at Go Godly our motto is God First in All Things which aligns to Jesus’ words from Sermon on the Mount which ironically has to do with worrying. Jesus tells everyone at the end of Matthew chapter 6 “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all these things shall be added unto you.” Not surprisingly, everyday that I start out with asking God the plan for the day much is done and accomplished and I’m amazed. God will pour into to you if you simply ask Him for direction daily.
