As we pray into the new year for direction, provision, and a few more helping hands, we are so excited to have much to do to help facilitate the many things we are trying to accomplish. The Kingdom gaming site is a HUGE financial undertaking and as is often the case, my thoughts and plans apparently are not what God has in mind. I laugh at myself frequently for thinking humanly when God always has something else up his sleeve.

I had thought fundraising would be a huge success and everyone would jump on to donate and help us get this baby going. Um, that would be a HUGE nope!! Call it economic issues or life interrupts or I simply am not interested in what you are doing at all – we garnered just one single donation thus far. It is a good one and it was a gift from my husband toward this project. I love that he believes in me and God’s vision for this fantastic business. He was floored when I first did the business plan and had him look it over. All he wanted to know was how did I do this. I explained that I didn’t. It is all God. Seriously, gaming is not my forte. I was a kid when Pong came out. I have to say that I had a high score on Centipede where I worked for about a year though. Still, 3D gaming in a role-playing style with educational and Christian themes isn’t quite the same. So, his excitement and faith in God’s plan and my execution is very touching.

So, I have been praying a lot over this project. God has me shifting gears. He wants me to finalize the little stuff. It is little but there is a whole lot of it. We have proofreading, worksheet creation, craft video creation, Vimeo set up, finalizing books, journals, and devotionals, finalizing artwork for t-shirts, books, and gifts for Godly gifts, and most importantly tweaking all the gameplay levels and adventures so they are outlined for our developers when we are ready to go.

So this is where I am today. Below is our very first book which is ready for publication. I am doing a fun giveaway on Facebook – go and follow our page there and like us – The first 100 people to comment on the post will get a pdf version to check out and review on our page. While we are working on all the above we will be getting books, workbooks, t-shirts, and other Go Godly items done and offered in our store too. Meanwhile, keep us in prayer. Waiting is always the hard part, and I know for certain God will provide every penny and person we need to move forward. His plan is so much bigger every time. I’m just human. Patience is a virtue and I can be patient, but when excited – not so much. LOL. Grateful for God’s grace in everything, too. I’m fairly certain he finds my shenanigans entertaining.
